Update:Baby booties finished, wrapped, and delivered!!
I was Providentially aided when The Man of the House discovered there was something wrong with my car and said I absolutely could not drive to the basketball tournament until he could look at it. (Don't even think about accusing me of sabotage!!)
This morning I stitched up the heel, searched frantically around for a box that would be the right size, looked for a gift bag that didn't say "Happy Birthday" or have a silver glitter happy face on it, and arrived at the shower with one minute to spare!
Thank goodness for a dear, dear God that never quits being my Helper!!
They are beautiful. What better place to stick tiny cute newborn feet that those?
